Salt-MIne offers the only Fine Art foundry located in the city of Detroit.

With the capability of casting aluminum, bronze, and copper, the Salt-Mine Foundry has been commissioned by different artists to develop unique designs.

The Salt-Mine Foundry also houses a foundry club, offering classes on mold-making, resin-bonded green sand, and the lost wax process.

Classes are currently held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
